Robyn Wolcott, CFP®, Financial Advisor at Warner Wealth, with offices in CT and ME, has officially earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification—an important milestone that reflects both dedication to the profession and an ethical commitment to helping clients make confident financial decisions.
Robyn has been with Warner Wealth since 2020 and focuses on helping her clients make sense of financial jargon---after all, that’s why she got into the business in the first place. Robyn recognized that so many people don’t have financial plans because they don’t have time to learn all the lingo. “The best compliment I've received from clients is when they explain to me that no one else has talked to them about finances in a way that makes sense. Hearing this makes me feel that I've done the job I promised to do. As an advisor, it's too easy to get swept up in acronyms in this industry and soon, eyes are glazing over during meetings - no one likes that,” said Robyn.
The CFP® certification is widely recognized as the gold standard in financial planning. To earn it, professionals must complete extensive coursework, gain real-world experience, and pass a comprehensive six-hour exam covering areas such as investment planning, retirement, taxes, insurance, and estate planning.
Beyond technical knowledge, CFP® professionals commit to acting as fiduciaries—always putting their clients’ best interests first. They also agree to uphold strict ethical standards designed to build trust and accountability in every client relationship.
The certification is granted by the CFP Board, the organization that sets and maintains the standards for financial planners across the United States. Today, nearly 100,000 professionals hold the CFP® designation nationwide.
James Warner, CFP®, CEO and Lead Wealth Advisor at Warner Wealth, expressed how meaningful this achievement is for both Robyn and those she serves. “I couldn’t be more proud of Robyn. This is a huge moment in her career, and it reflects the dedication she brings to her clients and the firm every day. She’s truly one of the brightest in the industry, and we’re lucky to have her here at Warner Wealth.”
In addition to her role as an advisor, Robyn Wolcott hosts the Law and Financial Order Podcast with attorney Erin Duques. Robyn developed the pod to investigate and decode topics related to financial planning, estate planning, and trusts. You can listen here.
She lives in Guilford with her husband, Bill, and their daughter Calli.
For Robyn, the journey doesn’t stop here. “This is just one step,” Robyn added. “I’m always looking for ways to grow and better serve the people who trust me with their financial future.”
