Warner Group is Growing!

May 28, 2020

Warner Group is excited to announce the expansion of its team. Along with her energy and enthusiasm, Robyn Wolcott, Client Services Associate, brings a background in marketing, attention to detail, and a strong focus on relationships and collaboration. As she works alongside the current Warner Group team, Robyn just recently passed the SIE.

Robyn has spent her past 20 years carrying out the legacy that James and his friend Ryan Duques started decades ago - serving as reporter, account executive, and finally Publisher at Shore Publishing Newspapers, a group of seven weekly community newspapers on the Connecticut shoreline.

In the publisher role, Robyn was responsible for complete company oversight including writing the annual budget.

“During my time as Publisher, I found that I really loved the financial side of the business,” Robyn says. “Numbers tell a story; how you use that information makes all the difference.”

"I saw something special in Robyn right from the start," James says. "We became friends in high school and I was impressed at how fast she worked her way up to the top of the professional ladder as Publisher at my prior business, Shore Publishing. This next step is a natural progression for her and we are honored to have her join Warner Group."

“I am so happy to be joining my friend James,” Robyn says. “He is someone I’ve trusted for decades and I think that’s a very important thing. It’s a strange time to be entering this field as the world is going through a pandemic, which only makes me more determined to help people with their financial goals. It's times like these that we need to plan for, and that is something I’ve seen done very well at Warner Group.”

Robyn holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Vermont, has been active on the boards of directors for various local Chambers of Commerce, and is currently on the executive board of the Madison Chamber of Commerce. Robyn lives on the Connecticut shoreline with her husband and their young daughter.
