 Apple was founded on April Fool's Day by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne. Ironically, the company started in a garage in Los Altos, and the first product was the Apple I, a hand-built computer sold for $666.66.

Fun Fact: Ronald Wayne sold his 10% stake for $800...which would be worth hundreds of billions today.
